You Said YES To Jesus

01 – GET TO KNOW JESUS

The best place to start is simple:

Get to know Jesus!

The book you received is a collection of stories from Jesus’s life and ministry.

As you read, pay attention to:

Who Jesus was. What He cared about. How He treated people. What He taught. What He transformed.

The more you know Jesus, the more you’ll understand what it means to follow Him, and the greater the difference it will make in your life.

02 – TALK TO GOD

You don’t need fancy words.

You don’t need to know how to pray perfectly.

Just talk to Him.

Tell God what you’re excited about. Tell Him what you’re afraid of. Ask Him questions. Thank Him. Ask Him for help.

In the words of Theology professor, Roberta Bondi, "If you are praying, you are already 'doing it right.'"

Prayer is simply learning to have a relationship with God. And just like any relationship, it grows through communication and conversation.

START HERE:

Jesus, thank You for loving me and meeting me here today. Help me get to know You, trust You, and follow You. Show me what it looks like to live this new life with You. And please show me the difference it would make in my life. Amen.

03 – FIND YOUR PEOPLE

You were never meant to follow Jesus alone.

Throughout Jesus’s ministry, He surrounded Himself with followers who became friends. People who came to learn from Him, ended up leading with Him. Along the way, they encouraged one another and grew together.

We need people. And people need us.

Start by attending church regularly. Then take the next step and find a small group or community where you can ask questions, build friendships, and grow in your faith.

04 – KEEP SAYING 'YES'

Today was not the finish line.

It's actually just the beginning!

Following Jesus is a daily decision to trust Him, learn from Him, and let Him lead your life.
