The Fire Starter Retreat will take place from Friday, October 10th through Saturday, October 11th.

We are renting cars and carpooling to Westbrookville, NY. All cars will be leaving the city by 2:30pm to ensure an on-time arrival between 5:00-6:00pm on Friday, October 10th. This will allow for everyone to arrive to the camp in time for the group dinner at 7:00pm.

Depending on your typical Friday work schedule, we would recommend taking off of work around lunchtime on Friday, October 10th. All vehicles will be leaving the city by 2pm on Friday, October 10th, that way they can beat the traffic out of the city and arrive to Camp Deerpark in time for our group dinner.

We will email all registrants a detailed list of what to bring approximately two weeks before the retreat.

Your registration fee covers your lodging at Camp Deerpark in Westbrookville, NY, your transportation to and from the camp, as well as three meals (dinner, breakfast, and lunch).

• Deposits are required as soon as possible to reserve your spot (space is limited to 45 people).

• $149 Early Bird Registration ends Sunday, September 14th. After that, the payment goes up to $189/person.

• Final/full payment is due by Friday, October 3rd, 2025.

Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer refunds after a person has registered due to our agreement with the camp. If for some reason you end up being unable to attend Fire Starter after you’ve registered, we will gladly convert your payment into a tax-deductible donation to Meta Church.

We will finish with our programming between 7:00-7:30pm on Saturday, October 11th. Camp Deerpark is about a 2-hour drive from Manhattan, so you can expect to be home by 10:00pm on Saturday, the 11th.
